New construction slab coordination

- Before the pour, get the slab contractor and the polishing contractor talking about how much stone should show and how the floor should look.
- Settle the concrete mix, pour, finishing, curing, and joint decisions with the design team, and write them down. Don't change structural requirements to chase a look.
- Check that the curing materials, and anything applied later, will work with the polishing system you plan.
- Agree on how much the stone pattern may vary, where the sample goes, and how the crew will reach the edges.
- Plan protection from spills, rust, tape marks, construction traffic and damage.
