Jobsite readiness checklist

- Check safe access, the equipment route, utilities and the edges of the work area.
- Find out what the existing floor materials are. If you can't identify something, have it properly assessed before anyone disturbs it.
- Settle how the work area gets closed off from spaces in use, and plan dust control, ventilation, and waste.
- Check that the sample is approved, product conditions are met, and other trades are lined up in the right order.
- Write down who moves the furniture out and who puts it back.
