Austin Concrete Polishing With 20+ Years in the Trade
We help you figure out whether polished concrete suits your slab and which finish fits it, then tell you what the floor will need from you after we finish.
- More than 20 years in the concrete trade
- An estimator reviews your project
- A written scope for your project
- Austin and the Central Texas towns we cover
A specialist, not a general flooring shop
We have more than 20 years in the concrete trade. We've worked on floors in homes and commercial buildings all over Austin and in nearby Central Texas towns.
Mechanical polishing is most of what we do. When epoxy or a concrete overlay is the better fit, we install those too. That could be a garage that needs a coating, a commercial floor that has to handle chemicals, or a slab that will never polish well on its own.
We're a local service business that does the work at your property. We don't keep a public showroom or a branch office in every city we serve. When the job calls for it, we bring samples to you during the assessment instead. Seeing a finish in your own space is the best way to judge it.
Four rules we work by
Check the slab before we sell
Every project starts at the slab. Depending on the slab, we look at how hard it is, how deep the stones sit, and what has soaked in. We also look at how flat it is and where the cracks and old repairs are. When the job calls for it, a test area on your own slab tells you more than a brochure.
Call the system what it is
Mechanical polishing, grind and seal, epoxy, and polishable overlays are different systems, and they don't last the same number of years. So we tell you up front which one you're buying.
Put it in writing
Your signed scope spells out the work for your job, such as prep, repairs, how much stone shows, shine level, treatments, and work phases. Anything it doesn't list isn't included.
Claim only what we can back up
You won't hear us promise a floor that's stain proof, slip proof, maintenance free, or crack free, and you won't find a flat rate here that ignores your prep. If we can't prove a review score, we don't post it.
What working with us looks like
-
Project details and photos
Send the floor area, how you use the space, what's on the floor now, and a few photos. We usually look them over within 24 business hours.
-
Slab assessment
We look at the floor in person and, when it helps, grind a test area on your own concrete.
-
Choosing the system
We recommend polishing, an overlay, or a coating, and we tell you why, what you give up, and where the limits are.
-
Sample or mockup approval
When the job calls for a sample, we look at it with you in person and talk through how much stone shows, the shine, and the color. The full floor can still vary from a sample.
-
Written scope, then the work
Work starts once the scope is signed. Dust control, work stages, and cleanup depend on the job, and we go over them during the consultation.
-
Care walkthrough
When the job is done, we walk you through care, cure times, and upkeep in person. We're available after the job if you have questions or concerns.
Who writes this site

Austin Polished Concrete Floors
Austin, TX
We're based in Austin, with more than 20 years in the concrete trade. We polish concrete for homes and commercial properties across Austin and nearby Central Texas communities. Our installers and estimators add the questions they hear most and what they've learned on job sites.
Each page starts from what people actually ask us and the mixups we keep running into.
Claims you won't find on this site
- Floors that are stain proof, slip proof, maintenance free, or crack free. No floor is any of those.
- A flat price per square foot that ignores removal, repairs, edge work, and access.
- Star ratings, review counts, or accreditation grades passed off as customer scores.
- Before and after "projects" that are illustrations, not real documented work.
- A showroom or an office in a city where we only send a crew.
Project sizes, insurance, and accreditation all need proof, and we only publish them when we can show the record. Warranty terms, if any, vary by project. We discuss them during the consultation, and only what's in your signed scope applies.
