What each finish can look like

How much stone shows and how shiny the floor is are separate choices. When the job calls for it, we may make a sample on your own slab so you can see both before work starts.

Example work photos. They show the kinds of finishes we do, not a specific customer's project. For photos of our completed projects, see the project studies above.

How We Document Work

What goes into a project record

A project entry is only useful if it says what actually happened, including the parts that didn't go smoothly. For projects we document ourselves, we try to record:

  • The location, in as much detail as makes sense, and the date of the work
  • Property use, floor area, and the starting condition of the slab
  • What the customer wanted, and the options we looked at
  • The system chosen, the prep, how much stone shows, and the shine
  • Schedule, outcome, and the limits we flagged
  • Our actual role on the job, and permission for any photo we use or anyone we name

We don't publish invented case studies, uncredited photos, or a handful of our own jobs passed off as the Austin market average.

An estimator reviews your project

Want to see a finish on your own slab?

A test area on your own concrete tells you more than any gallery photo. Ask us whether a sample makes sense for your job when we come out for the assessment.

  • We check your slab before we quote
  • Your signed proposal spells out what's not included
  • We walk you through care in person when the job is done

Only interested in mechanical polishing?

Start with the residential polished floor project. The decorative compass and the brewery countertop show other kinds of concrete work, and we don't present them as mechanically polished floors.
