Bee Cave Polished Concrete Floor Specialists
We do polished concrete in Bee Cave and the Hill Country just west of Austin, for homes and businesses. We work on custom builds in Falconhead and Lake Pointe, established single family homes along Bee Caves Road, and commercial buildouts near Hill Country Galleria. When stained concrete, an epoxy coating, or a polishable overlay suits a space better, we do those as well.

Sound Familiar?
Homeowners, remodelers, builders, and facility managers around Central Texas often bring us these four problems.
You don't know what's under the floor
Tile or carpet comes up and nobody can say whether that slab will polish well. We check it first, and when the job calls for it we grind a test area, so there's less guessing about the finish.
Polishing, grind and seal, epoxy, and staining all get sold as "shiny concrete"
They're different systems with different upkeep, and we'll tell you which one fits the space instead of selling whatever we installed last week.
Cracks over Central Texas clay
Clay soil that swells and shrinks moves slabs. We can repair and manage cracks before polishing, but polishing won't erase them, and an overlay won't cure the movement. Bee Cave sits west of Interstate 35, where soil is often thin over limestone. Pockets of clay and built up lots can still move a slab, so we check crack history here too. See how Central Texas clay affects polished floors.
Commercial downtime is a real cost
In retail, office, and warehouse spaces, we can work in zones and stages and give you our honest estimate of when you'll get each area back. We won't just promise to "work around you."
Whatever the worry, we start the same way: we check the slab first, then recommend the system we think fits it best.

How We Schedule and Reach Bee Cave Jobs
Bee Cave sits along TX-71 on our western route, so we book jobs here alongside Lakeway and West Lake Hills work. Our crews travel once and get a full day on site. Access takes some planning here. In gated communities like Spanish Oaks, we set up crew entry before the first day. For hillside driveways off Bee Caves Road (RM 2244), we work out an equipment route before we show up.
Living in the house during the work? Depending on the job, we can seal off the work area and run HEPA dust extraction on the grinders. In most homes, the rest of the house stays usable. We can do shops and offices near Hill Country Galleria and along Hamilton Pool Road one zone at a time, outside business hours.
What We Find in Hill Country Slabs
Under Bee Cave you'll find thin Hill Country soil over limestone, plus pockets of clay that swell and shrink and can shift a slab over the years. Newer custom builds in Falconhead and Lake Pointe often have flat, properly cured slabs. They're good candidates for a cream finish, where almost no stone shows, or salt and pepper, with fine flecks of stone showing through. When the slab calls for it, we finish with a lithium silicate hardener, which toughens the surface so it wears better.
Older homes along RM 2244 and closer to Lakeway are a different story, and some have tile or carpet over the slab. We grind off the glue and tile mortar and look hard at the concrete before anyone picks a finish. If a slab has moved or been patched a lot, we'll recommend a polishable overlay instead of grinding alone. Retail units near Hill Country Galleria and restaurant floors along TX-71 are their own case. They usually need filled joints and a hardener picked for customer traffic and daily cleaning.
Areas we cover here
There's no Bee Cave showroom or office to visit. We come to your home or business, and we bring samples or mockups when the job needs them.
How a Polished Concrete Project Runs
Most jobs go through four steps between your first photos and the first day of grinding, and we don't like to rush them.
-
Send details and photos
Your floor area, how you use the space, what's on the floor now, and a few photos of the slab. That's usually enough for a first read on whether polishing is realistic.
-
We check the slab
On site we look at things like hardness, how deep the stone sits, flatness, anything soaked into the concrete, cracks, and old repairs. When the job calls for it, we grind a small test area so you can see your own concrete polished before you choose.
-
We talk through which systems fit
Mechanical polishing, grind and seal, an epoxy coating, or a polishable overlay. We'll make a clear recommendation, even when it's a different system from the one you asked about.
-
Written scope, then the work
Prep, repairs, the finish, treatments, phasing, and anything left out of the job all go on paper first. Then our crew does the work as written. We'll go over dust control for your space during the consultation.
Not sure whether your slab should be polished, overlaid, or coated?

What Customers Tell Us
Here's what some of our customers have said.
“We removed dated tile in our Barton Creek remodel. The team prepped the uneven slab, walked us through our options, and we ended up with a satin cream finish we really like.”
“As a commercial GC, it's rare to find a flooring trade in Austin that explains the prep and testing this well. They kept us updated on the schedule the whole way through.”
“Honest and straightforward. They tested our 1980s slab, showed us a sample mockup, and explained why polishing suited our open living space better than epoxy.”
Individual results vary based on use, maintenance, and environmental conditions.
